Matt Rendall is CEO and Co-Founder of OTTO Motors where he is responsible for developing the strategic commercialization of self-driving vehicle technologies, as well as the strategic vision for the company. After his first successful business with Clearpath Robotics Inc, a company that provides unmanned vehicles for research and development, Matt led the launch of Clearpath's industrial division, OTTO Motors. OTTO Motors provides self-driving vehicle technology for material transport to some of the world's most innovative brands including GE and John Deere.
Matt began his career by developing and commercializing complex electro-mechanical systems, and held various research and development positions in automation, automotive, and defense industries. Matt holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the inaugural Mechatronics Engineering class at the University of Waterloo, and a Master's in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology also from the University of Waterloo. His thought leadership brought the company early success, along with a variety of accolades including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year Award for Young Entrepreneur and Business Insider's 40 Under 40 People to Watch recognition.
Matt is hosting the first Drive Manufacturing Summit, a leadership focused meeting designed to improve plant floor operations and manufacturing strategy across North America while addressing ways to overcome the key challenges facing industry today.
